LOL, I thought it would be you ;-) My housekeeper was in a scenic at the pedestrian crossing there, stopped as it was red. You pulled alongside (on the inside) and gunned it away from the lights, only to get stuck in the traffic ahead where she caught you again :-)

You need to watch out along there - I've seen police waiting either side of the bend waiting to pull people over for driving in the bus lane ; also I'm informed that the busses sometimes have cameras fitted and they'll dob you in if you get in their way. It's not like your car is subtle :-)

Cheers,
Robin

Ahh yes, those lights. I didn't go past 30, I dont think and you are right about the cops, especcially on wet days, they sit and watch behind corners...gits.

Pass on my apologies! :)

Gary.

One caveat. Before and after certain hours, the buslanes are fair game for the time-honoured embattled regular motorist. Varies slightly across Edinburgh - really helpfully - but generally before 7.30am and after 9.30am in many areas is OK. But note many others run right through until about 6.30pm.

However I doubt the accused was out and about that early ;-)

Anyway you'd be mad to drive your Elise along a buslane, all the draincovers are collapsed so the suspension and geo damage can be considerable!
