Azure Blue S1 on the back of a salvage company low loader

Post by Neil72 » Tue Jul 08, 2008 12:01 pm

Spotted this morning on the road between Bathgate and West Calder, I'm pretty sure the reg was R *** GNO. It was past me in a flash so I never noticed the full extent of the damage

That was possiably mine as it was to be taken from Steve Walkers up to CoPart Salvage and Auction's yard somewhere in Fife for free storage while they assess the damage and catogerise it

Not the way I'd rather have been spotted the first time on SE

Read your story and thought it might have been your car.

It was on the back of the truck with a few old sheds and the guy was loading an old caravan on beside it as well when I drove past. What a sad end for your poor Elise eh

Have you had any joy with the insurance settlement yet ?

It is /was insured @an agreed value and was being taken to their insurance assessor AG Watsons (Who have been bought over by Co-Part UK Ltd) in Inverkeithing to catagorise ~which was being done this afternoon when I phoned them as AG Watsons this afternoon having heard from Steve Walker where it was heading to and how quickly things move sometimes to sell on or destroy cars with little left visually intact

they reassured me that they cannot move to sell on or destroy without giving an assessment of the worth to the insurance company who I'll phone again tomorrow~ now today
