was me and no natalie is not yet confident enough to drive in town. happy to potter about motherwell and select industrial estates thought.

Hmm, how is the lotus for a learner, maybe I could go back to one car for work and fun again :damnfunny

doesn't seem to be too bad, which is a bit of a surprise tbh. i think the noise off the larini helps let her know when to change gear and the clutch etc are pretty user friendly.

she's only stalled it a couple of times and both times it was after being out in a BSM corsa which is obviously a bit different to drive. also wheel spun away from the lights once, again after being in the BSM corsa which must have er poor acceleration (probably good for a learner tho), the wheel spin alas was at a set of traffic lights going from hamilton to motherwell just next to strathclyde park which resulted in a whole load of neds waving and cheering at her.

totally no use for reverse parking tho as there's sod all rear visibility.

all in all it's not the ideal car, your magnetic learner driver triangle thing won't stick well to the soft top although i still think it would be cool to place the L plate strategically thus LOTUS
