When you saw me in woodlands it wouldnt have been hot as I was only 100yds out the carpark but its quite droney on the motorway (but the noises it makes above 4krpm make up for it!)

I think a lot of my motorway drone might be the ITG inducton thing. I cant compare before and after cos it was on it when I got the car.

If the girlfriend ever wants to know what ive been up to, she need only check on here - cant avoid the SE spies!

Yes it's rather difficult to be inconspicuous in a brightly coloured Exige.

Got the Stage 2 on mine as well, you might want to have a listen to one of ours from inside the car first as its pretty loud at times.

Isn't too bad on motorways at cruising speed, but any acceleration usually gets a bit loud.

And forget about trying to hear the stereo when going for it.

On the plus side it crackles, and bangs rather nicely :twisted:

I think £350 is the price new but I am friendly with Dave Simpson (former service bloke at MMC) and might be able to get one for around £100, can find out for you if you want.

Well I'll have a listen first and then decide. I know my brother is keen on getting one.

Does it impact on any restrictions on track days or is it quiet enough for the noise police?

I believe the Stage 2 blows the arse out of most noise limits....

That's why the Stage 1 exists, I think...

98db is the quoted level. Not sure where thats measured from.

Its fine for Knockhill as there are no noise restrictions but IIRC some folk have had bother at Donington which usually has a 98db limit.

Certainly any tracks with a 95db level (Croft?) would bugger things up.

Home made silencer bung bodge job for me if I am going down there :D
