Silver s1 at george sq

Spotted silver S1 (with hardtop on) at the corner of george square about tea time last night. I was the gassed guy pointing like a mad man that'd never seen an Elise before.

Saw you in the queue at Charing Cross last night too. I was in the commuting shed, so you wouldn't have clocked.
I'm sorry mate - but WTF did you buy a convertible for if you've got a hardtop on in this weather???? Come on, you're being silly now.

I didnt buy an Elise solely because I can take the roof off - that fact didnt factor in the purchase atall. If I had the $ for buying / insuring, I'd have bought an S1 Exige .
That, and the fact I leave it parked at Charing X overnight often, and the fact its an arse to take the roof off, and personal pref are the reasons I leave it on. When I can I take it off .

There always seems to be a couple of s1's at the end of george street, definately a silver s1 with hardtop most days and another one occassionally. They always park in the permit zone!
