I've seen this one a few times myself (gf works at sick kids so am quite often round that way).
She says she's seen a silver S2 on Warrender Park Road a few times recently. Would that be you?

I used to see it there a lot when I lived in Marchmont a few years back when I was at Uni. I think it belongs to jamiey on here.

Yup that's me.

:thumbsup

Annoyingly haven't had much of a chance to use it over the last month, so battery was as a flat as a pancake.

After 45 mins worth of our Golf chugging away with jumpleads finally burst into life.

Good thing too as it's off to Ali for it's annual check up

Noticed the S2 on Warrander last Friday.

well the battery situation prob wont affect me as i use mine at least once or twice a week, but is it worthwhile investing in a trickle charger or what do you recommend? ive seen a device which i think disconnects the battery but keeps the alarm active? or did i make that up?

I work in the west end of town so walk to work so don't get a chance to use as a daily driver ( I used to commute)

Also up until now the last free weekend I had was in late November.

I believe that Eliseparts do Solar Panel that -dependant on how your ciggie lighter wired - will trickle a bit of charge and keep things going.

My lighter is, of course, not wired the correct way, in that it should work when the ignition is off.

I know from a fairly recent discusion on SELOC that the small solar chargers 2.5-5w made little differance and struggled to kep up with demands of alarm/ imobeliser even on a sunny day, and if they didnt have a diode fitted they would drain the battery if it was cloudy ~(dont know how true that is)

And it was felt that it was better to fit the much bigger version as used for mororcaravans/ boats
