Seemed as surprised to see a VX as I was to see an S1 in Hamilton

t'was me martin - I actually shouted, "alright Martin?!" but you tried to put your foot down to let me hear the rattle of that vauxhall lump as you left the roundabout

Once i'd gone up the road a bit i did think "was that greg" and considered turning round, but to be honest i was REALLY hungover and feeling quite sick so the prospect of going back to bed was much more appealing.

Do you not live in Edinburgh? What on earth took you to Hamilton?

It did sound lovely actually and lead to the inevitable, "is that one better than yours?" query from my fat pax

I was picking up the fat pax from Hamilton and taking him for a spin, then off out on the beer after that. Nicely sunburnt from the drive too

Still, no worries for not recognising me - I'd just been ripped off at the sunglasses shop in braehead for a pair of shades that made me look like Christopher Lloyd at the end of Back to the Future....
