That would have been me, I was up staying at the Plockton Hotel with friends for Easter. Had a fantastic time, the weather was just amazing and the roads epic. Am going to try and up load some photos later. There are just the most brilliant driving roads up in that area.
We went sea angling in Gairloch on the Sunday; what a drive from Plockton to Gairloch and back again!! The route from Gairloch along the A832 through Kinlochewe to Achnasheen and then along the A890 back to Plockton is just epic.
I am now sporting a rather sunburned head now after driving about all weekend with the roof off!!!
Also went to Applecross for lunch on the Monday and the drive up and over Bealach na Ba which is the highest mountain pass in the UK is great fun although don't think the girlfriend was enjoying it as much as me!!
Here is a photo from the top

Your trip sounds great, good pics
Some of the roads sound like the ones we did on the 060708 camping trip last summer, excellent raods indeed

Back in my student days, I worked up in Gairloch for a few months and couldn't believe some of the roads (even though I was the proud owner of a Y Reg Metro back then). Needless to say, I've been back a few times with the Lotus
