Azure Blue s1, at the lights A90 Forfar Rd/Kingsway junction?

I saw you and waved, but you probably didn't see due to where I was!

Hi Chris,
Me and Jim were in the two red 360 spiders by the Vauxhall garage/boarders book shop. Out for a blast through the tunnel, sort of creating our very own Monaco F1 experience :D

Wasn't me then ;) Wish it was though, that would have been some site :o

I wondered when you said 'very nice' silver s1 as mine isn't of that sort!

I suppose I should start a thread about that azure S1 now too ;)

Aha, was probably me, sorry fellas!

I did see the two Fezzas right enough and thought, "michty...two...in DUNDEE...hope they don't stop anywhere" ;-)

Cars looked 8) guys.

Had some business meetings at Carnoustie followed by a cheeky round on the No. 2 course, where I halved a match with my Dad and scored a near personal-best...great night for it, and great run home too, that was a P-B time also I think :thumbsup

Hi Campbell,
I actually said to Jim I thought it was you, probably couldn't ask for a better day for taking the Liz out and a round of golf thrown in as well. :D

LOL, am I that obvious?!

Yes we got lucky with the Carnoustie micro-climate once again, barely saw a drop of rain all evening!

Glad you spotted my somewhat ageing and actually quite unwashed wee S1, we don't get out that much just now!

Campbell, how long have you had that S1 one for, It's almost 10 years since I got my first S1, that's not the one you had way back then is it? If so it's looking good.

Firstly Jim - thanks for the edit, very droll ;-)

Dave - yep, that's the original. Took delivery on 2nd July 1999. Can barely believe it. Was showing my old buddy Peter Bennett the effects of 10 years' abuse up close the other night, though. But on a silver car, the stone chips are barely noticeable unless you've just polished it. And thanks almost entirely to the incredible benevolence of many SE tech experts, I've kept the car in fairly decent mechanical shape and if I were ever forced to sell, someone would be bagging an excellent example I think.

Which reminds me...must wash at the weekend. Car also ;-)
