hey there, aye, that would be me :)
No plate kept catching on flipping everything as its a touch lower than the 100mm front height. Its all cosy in the boot haha

Andy, Matelotman told us that the fine is now £60, and a fairly good chance they will take no excuses. I have put my old battered one back on.

hey there,
I've had it off the last 3 years, was even in getting petrol at the airport shell one the other day, an a cop car was in front of me. Guys were looking but didn't say anything!!
However, was stopped on friday(4pm) just past Stonehaven(southbound), as they noticed I had not tax disc visable!!! then they clocked the plate which I explained keeps falling off due to "traffic calming measures" in abz. They just gave me a ticket to fix it all in 21 days, no fine.
fitted the plate yesterday....and it promptly fell off trying to get into my garage as its about 3mm lower than the clam...rats.
Ah well, re-drilling required. front clam is coming off this week anyway for new windscreen, radiator overhaul & bushing changes.

Fuzz have been out in force the last few weeks on the A90, but only during business hours. Just seems to the Stonehaven area though.

cheers

I also spotted you last Wednesday about lunch time in ABZ going round the Bridge of Dee roundabout - I was in the civic. Noticed the no plate and the hardtop. Didn't realise you were on here so didn't post
