Was me again Neil, 2nd time spotted by you but I didn't notice you. In the Exige?
Just back from a 2 week blast around Europe (including German GP) so was a bit mucky. Had half of France's insect eco-system smeared accross the front

Yes, I was in the Exige this time. I think we were passing Stewart's Melville College at the time. Didn't see you early enough to flash. I think I need a respray to a colour that's actually noticeable.
How did you find the Europa long distance?

The Europa was a hoot in Europe! Air con was a god send although if the roof could come off then it would have been fine..
Plenty of of luggage space for the two of us. The missus packed the boot like a suitcase and we took soft bags to ferry to gear to the hotel room. We ended up only using a third of what we took - Mrs tom77 took 7 pairs of shoes. Me? my grubby trainers and a pair of flip flops

. The car was a little 'nose in the air' with all that weight in the back though.
The continentals loved the car. Some lad in Holland must have noticed the car on the motorway and when they passed he had drawn up a little note on a bit of paper saying 'Nice!' in dutch (the missus speaks a little dutch). Plus loads of kind comments and from passers by (especially at the GP).
Best of all was the way the car behaved driving up the east coast as I came home on Friday. Torrential rain for the entire journey. The car didn't let in a drop and stayed straight as an arrow through puddles of standing water. Proper all rounder - very impressive.
Plus, if is wasn't for the Lotus I doubt whether we would have opted for a driving holiday. A great experience and we're planning the next one already
