Not as many sightings as I'd expected for a weekend oop narth. Even Ironside has his tucked away in the garage when I called round...
Anyway, spotted:
New-looking yellow S2 heading from Dundee to Coupar Angus yesterday (Monday).
I was in the silver Smart Roadster Coupe Brabus that flashed.
Also, Azure S1 parked up with roof off at Dreghorn Optislop shop around 2pm-ish? Couldn't see anyone I recognised but the plate looked somewhat familiar... something number TRS I think? Again, I was in the Roady parked at the pump, and looked like I hadn't slept for a while... (for just that reason).
Also spotted a dark coloured Punani Zonda heading north on the M90 around Kinross as I was heading south. Wasn't there some event thing at KH with the FXX etc? Might be part of that... <shrugs>. Still, made my day - he wasn't doing much more than 70, but sounded like the end of the world!!

Ah yes. Remember you now. Only had the car (azure S1) for a week (came from newcastle area originally). I was standing at the cash machine wearing green and white polo shirt. Looked round at you just as you were pulling out from the pump.
Some people are about all over the place and never get spotted, and I'm caught in a week. At least i had the roof off or i'd never hear the end of it.

Ah, I guess I didn't recognise the plate after all then...
I don't remember seeing you at the cash machine, but then I wouldn't have recognised you anyway...
I don't like that particular cash-machine much for the following reason:
It is protected with a steel bollard to prevent ram-raiding. The last time I used it I turned round, concentrating on putting beer-tokens into wallet, and walked straight into the damned bollard! It caught me right in the knackers, leaving me momentarily dizzy with tears in my eyes and an overwhelming feeling of stupidity...
You have been warned!

Hey Graeme, how you doing?
I thought you'd sold the Smart
Gonna make it up for some campaganza trips this year? I reckon it's about time we started organising the first one.

Hey dude!
The car is up for sale (on PH and Smart forums etc) but I'm not too fussed about selling it. I stopped trying over the winter, but prices are picking up again now, so I've readvertised it. I've had a few low offers, but I don't need to give it away. There is one offer in the pipeline so we'll see what happens.
Nice to see your car with the OZ wheels... looking sh*t-hot mate!
I'm sure we'll be able to make it up for camping one way or the other, but it might end up being in a Corsa or something, as I don't plan to replace the Roady with anything fun for a while. That won't stop us getting to Ashmelvish, but it might take us a bit longer than you to get there!
I doubt I'll get time off work before end of July, but any time after that I'd be up for it.
I can't believe the speed of replies on SE2... do you lot never do any work?

Would if I could mate, but not much chance of getting up before end of July.

With the post count I've got going, that comment may be scoffed at
Although 99.9% of those posts have been from work, so I guess you're still right

What's the target for getting yourself back in an Elise then?

None at the moment. I had planned to get an Exige this year when a bunch of stock options vested, but the arse end fell out the market, all my options are worth sod-all right now, and I've decided I've had pretty much enough of living down here. It's rubbish. So this week's plan is:
Sell car (all in good time, but making *some* progress), do up house (currently a bit of a building site), sell house for gazillions, find 2x jobs in Scotland, move back to Scotland, THEN think about what fancy-pants car I can buy
Get me all sensible and grown-up eh?

Bummer about the share options

If either of you can code in Actionscript, Java or Oracle pl/sql then we have jobs.

I'll keep it in mind thanks...
Victoria is pretty much a C++/C# person, while I stopped coding a few months ago for a promotion to the dizzying heights of middle-management and pointy-haired-bossness. It sounds bad I know, but I *do* have the technical background to back it up, so it's actually quite rewarding.

That's terrible - you'll burn yourself out trying to do two jobs - you should make Victoria work
