Dark blue heading eastbound about junction 6 / 7 about half five

Spotted the laser going westbound but stuck in traffic at junction 5 going west bound

I was sitting on the noisy white v twin "making progress" through the traffic Was going to wave as I passed but wasn't sure if you'd know who was

I was in the Laser Blue S2 heading West. I saw you in the mirror away back as the bike looks quite distinctive as you were making your way forward. Did you happen to see my near miss (thankfully) with the 4 foot by 2 foot panel of MDF ?

A silver/grey Mitsibush Animal type truck pulled out in front of me with several MDF crates piled on the back of it. Something looked a bit suspect about the way it was loaded so I kept a little distance behind it. Next minute one of the lids from the crates flies of the back of the truck. I managed to brake enough to see it land in front of me rather than on top of me. I drove over it without any damage to me or the car (phew!). A nasty moment and the guy was not even aware it had happened until I drove along side him and told him (or words to that effect).

I'm afraid i missed your incident I don't look in my rear view mirror on the bike on the M8 anymore - too much going on in front of me ! Quite glad it came off in front of you and not me though

TBH your incident wouldnt surprise me at all as I've seen all sorts since I started working out of livingston - i've seen people reading books, magazines and even on guy on a laptop. All in the outside land of course.

Would love to see what the bike looks like in traffic as people certinaly move out of the way a lot quicker than they do on the car - im guessing it looks quite imposing. Just need louder cans and it would mean that even the people who dont bother looking in the mirror would know i was there
