Red S2 was me on the way home from work yesterday making the most of the weather with the roof down.

Were you standing beside the black Exige?

Yes that was me. Yesterday was the second time i saw you. Day before I was standing a bit further up the street talking to GregR and we both kind of stared at you. The black exige is Ed's. I have an Azure Blue S1. :thumbsup

(good to see the roof off... )

Hows Lotus owership treating you? I've had mine for about 1yr now and am still loving it everytime I get in and drive. Still learning a lot about how it handles and haven't done a track day yet. Will have to get that sorted!!!

Good so far (touching all available wood(steady shug)). Only had it for about 10 days. Love it though. Had a hell of a time making my mind up as far as which one to get, and in the end the right one appeared.
My track day experience was all in Ed's exige(maybe 6 track days). Was bloody nervous the first few times as it looks like everyones hooning around, and i thought bloody hell, how am i gonna do that. But once you get out there it's dead easy. Come along to one of the Hot Marques nights at Knockhill. Driving standards are excellent, and i think there's much less risk to the car on track than on the open roads. I think tenkfeet did his first trackday the other day, so he might be able to tell you about it.

Have a look at the Mexi Towers bit in Announcements and Trackdays. The track day on the 9th of June will be excellent. Mostly Lotus guys off the forum. A good chance to come along and meet a few faces. I'll be tracking my new car for the first time, and I'm a little bit nervous  . Big difference between an S2 exige and my standard S1  .

Especially the way you drive Tom :D  :D

As Tom says though if you can get your head along to MT (1-5pm) next Friday, its the best outing of the summer (as legend suggests!).

More than welcome to grab some pax's or if you ask nicely they might be able to find an extra space!

Hi guys,

wont be able to make Mexi due to work rubbish (friday afternoon meeting.....very bad planning!!) but sounds fantastic.

Tried some of that Meguires stuff that guys on here have been talking about to take all the winter cr@p off the paint work and then gave it some resin polish followed by autoglym ultra gloss (the pertroleum based stuff with the gold label). Took a while to do, but well worth the effort!! hopefully next wash the dirt will just slid off.

never relised how addictive car cleaning can be!! especially when you see the shine developing.

Enjoy Mexi Towers.

Jamie
