Scottish Elises

This morning, at B and Q end of Murcar Ind Est in Abz. 8.40am. I must admit, I didn't realise it was a Lotus until I saw the Lotus badge as Iv never seen on in the flesh before!!

Looked loverly!!!

Have no idea what model it was, but part of the reg had a couple of V's in it! I'm sorry for the lack of info. Like I said I didn't even realise until it was up close that it was a Lotus until I saw the badge when it passed me!! Then I had an idea that it might have been an esprit so I googled it and up came a pic of the same car!!

I have been on lotusespritworld however and I think it looks kinda like a v8 one. I don't think it looked as 'boxy' as the older styles and it had a spoiler which kinda flowed into the body. Does that make sense? I hope I am describing it right!!

ye it does jen, i got a email from the scottish club lotus trying to find out how many esprits are here as you decribed my esprit is a 1985 orignal S3 G model and i was curious it does sound like a later stevens model thanks for your interest cheers stu

There's a Yellow one at my new work reg P88 *** or something similar. Beautiful looking car, but i guess different to the Esprit you saw Jen.

There can't be too many yellow esprits in Aberdeen? Are there any V's in the number plate Peter?

Stu, 1985?!! I was only 2 when your car was registered then! got any piccies?

I used to often see a yellow V8 (round rear lights) when we lived in town. Often parked on Claremont Street.

Thread resurrection! I think I saw this again this morning on King Street where the road works are at the moment. the reg had 111 at the end. Youngish guy driving I think. Looked lovely in the sun!
