Tri-Fuel Exige 270E

Just spotted an Exige 270E Tri-Fuel (or so it says on the back) parked currently on the High Street in Castle Douglas..
I presume these are very rare..

I presume one of the fuels is E85. I run my impreza on this and its now been withdrawn from Morrisons which was the only pump stockist. It was great, same octane as race fuel for the same price as pump fuel.

Its only available from Sonoco now at £3 a Litre

I wasn't aware that the tri fuel car was ever offered for sale Lotus showed the car as an exercise of what could be achieved. I wonder if it is a car out testing from the factory ?
If it is a tri-fuel car that is a rare sighting Cowan !!

I took a picture of it with my phone. Strange colour combo.. White with green, yellow and black strip over the length of the car and "tri-Fuel and 270E on the rear.
If you're down at DC's museum on Sunday, I'll show it to you.

Defo sounds like the one that did the rounds of magazines and shows. I think it was standard engine with seals that allowed the use of different fuels thus boosting the performance to 270.
