Yup, was me. Think I was going at a fairly sensible speed today as well. That new bit of the M74 just wants you to drive fast on it!

Indeed! I have seen the cops sitting in the 'layby/police parking' area just after the bridge on the steep downhill bit around a mile after the kingston bridge a couple of times, with a speed gun pointing at the oncoming traffic. So easy to speed down there, and so easy to get caught with them hiding around the corner!
