Hello, 'twas me although mine is midnight blue, guessing looked black at night. Heading home... Nice dry night too with empty roads makes getting back from a business trip more enjoyable

Did you have that fitted when you were out with us last year on the run to Coylumbridge Jamie?

How are you enjoying the new car, still hankering for the roadster?

Steve
Hi Steve, yes the exhaust was fitted from delivery and on the run we went on. Totally love my car choice, I'm glad I added all the options and Exige seats etc... yes a roadster would be nice but I know I don't need it. The Elise S has more than enough performance on day to day road driving. Plus Georgie enjoys the Elise too, she never took the s160 out but does happily take the S. I probably will need to avoid driving a Roadster though. :cheers

Slightly confused here.

Surely the Elise S is a roadster?

Elise S which Jamie now owns has the supercharger.

Roadster I was referring too, is the V6 Exige Roadster (Like the new Exige V6 but without optional hardtop, front splitter, rear spoiler and has softer suspension)

Jamie's car is a roadster technically because the roof comes off of his car, but the new Exige V6 that comes without hardtop, spoiler and splitter has been marketed as the V6 Exige 'Roadster'

Exige Roadster;

Does this help Tut?

Understand which model he has now, just do not understand Lotus's naming routine.

The Elise S/C was straight forward, now it seems that there is an Elise S with either a 1.6 or 1.8 engine, so could be either, or an Elise S which is the equivalent of the previous Elise S/C.

No surprise that it is confusing, well it is to me. Exige V6 or Exige V6 Roadster is self explanatory.

Standard car is Elise- 1.6
Elise S is 1.8 Supercharged
Both have a CR version which is stripped out and lighter

Confusion arises as the S used to be the base model to the supercharged- SC
2015 Lotus Evora
2022 Polestar 2 LRSM Plus
2023 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline
