It wasn't me, but the image of this made me think you are doing society a service by demonstrating that their lesser machines are somewhat more practical - good man!

I am actually pleased that it wasn't anyone from here because it was a bit embarrassing.
Firstly I stalled it in the queue for the lights because I was paying too much attention to try and see in the mirror, past the rear wing, to confirm it was a Lotus, then I put the door up to give the thumbs up, then the traffic started to slowly move, so I went to quickly pull the door back down and ended up jamming my fingers between the edge of it and the roof. Then, because the car was still behind, I decided to take the first left hand exit into a wee housing estate incase the driver wanted to stop for a chat..... He didn't and kept going straight on... Then I ended up doing a 28 point turn in the road to head back the way I came. Cars eh!!!
Edit to add: I went past your place on Sunday in the car and the garage door was open so, incase you were around, I gave a few pushes on the button for the horn... and my big butch macho car gave a couple of small effeminate "peep peep" noises

I was sort of glad you weren't there

I may have been up at the house getting some tools. I was resolving the 944 headlight issues, and looking at my slightly leaky garage roof over the weekend..
I'm sure it's a small horn for weight reasons
