Yellow Elise S2 in Carlisle

Post by MisterK » Fri Jul 10, 2015 7:15 pm

Yes, I know we're Scottishelises but you were coming south! We exchanged waves before I enjoyed the A7 northbound last night. The A7 is a superb route back to the central belt if you can afford some extra time, especially on a quiet weekday evening. :D

The charter says you don't have to own and you don't have to be Scottish :-)

Only used the A7 all the way south on one occasion. V pleasant but prone to slow traffic I find?

And carnage north of Gala due to reconstruction of some railway or another.

Agreed - I'd also found this route normally limited by traffic.
However heading up from Carlisle at 7pm was ideal and I also left the A7 at Gala (to Livingston via Peebles and Carnwath).
Mostly just single overtakes to do and the Elise was really flowing! Bliss.
