Everyone who spots me seems to comment on how shiney it is.
I may be a polisher but I drive it too! 8000 miles in 8 months.
The evora looked great looking forward to get mine now.

I 'm going for the blue Evora that Murrays has for sale FJ11. I inquired about a part exchange and they made a really good offer on the Elise so I couldn't refuse.
It's not got the spec I wanted but we're working on that. I should hopefully get it Tuesday or Thursday depending on how they get on with the changes I have asked them to make.

Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
You can retro everything bar sport pack the door opening stuff that no-one uses.
The only option you "need" is camera or reversing sensors. Cruise is handy as is a double DIN but you can do without both. Interesting that someone spec'd premium leather and forged wheels but not tech pack.
You'll love it though - brilliant mix of elise type chassis and real world usability.

I thought your childhood was spent in a tent in North Africa?DDtB wrote:That was me on my wee tour of fife with the other half... quick detour through the bay to see how the old childhood home was doing..
Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
I have a double din kicking about from my old car (parrot asteroid smart) so that's sorted, parking sensors are being done this week and I've looked in to cruise control but I'm going to see how I get on without it first then might fit it later.
The front bumper was really badly stonechipped and had a scuff so they have resprayed that for me and are fitting ventureshield this week too. The only thing that concerns me now is if/when the clutch goes I'm hoping for at least another 20k miles before I have to do that.
I really enjoyed the car on the test drive the only part I didn't like about the car was the gearshift. Its quite stiff but after reading lots I understand this is a Tadts (I know about the new shifter but at £500 plus labour I'll see how I get on)
We need to get an Evora meet organised, I've not seen you for years.

Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
'boxes seem very variable between cars. Mine was much nicer than the one i test drove.
We should meet up though - my main stakeholder is now in dunfermline

I'm working in Glenrothes now but I am on holiday soon so I'll drop you a PM.
Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
Congrats on the Evora purchase. They are so accomplished and the more you drive the more you appreciate just how good they are.

Thanks, I'll miss the Elise but the creature comforts and back seats will be a massive bonus!
Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
I find it most shocking that sport pack was an option - should be standard. I don't like the throttle response with it switched off at all.
Re: Grey Evora Dalgety Bay
I didn't know my car had the premium pack? Is it the arm rest that gives that away?
Does that mean it will have heated seats?
