admittedly on the back of a low loader but the car was in a right state!
looked to be silver or titanium. i could only see damage to the passengers side but there was no front wing, a mangled door, lots of damage to the rear end. honestly looked quite a state.
hope it was nobody we know

Thanks for the concern VXJon, but it was not me.
The only other silver one I knew of came from down Greenock way and always had a hard top anythime I saw it.
Never knew the owner but I hope he was ok.
Mines is still in the garage getting my new brakes all fixed.

Hi Will, good to see you found your way over here

I take it it's the Mintex pads you're getting fitted?
Must admit I've been a bit

recently and been using the Puma instead of the VX - hope whoever this was is OK!

Thanks for the big welcome guys.
I was having mintex 1144's and EBC grooved discs fitted. Along with the brake fluid changed out for some AP racing stuff.
What a difference this has made, the brakes actually work like they should. I nearly went through the windscreen when coming out of the garage.

Really got to get my brakes changed, glad to hear new pads make a difference as the OEM brakes are rubbish on my car.
I take it 1144's from Camskill are the ones to go for?

Yeah, the 1144s are much better than the standard pads. I didn't like the standard brakes on my car at all when I got it, the Mintex pads made a big difference. Pagids are meant to be the best, but are a lot more expensive.
I bought mine from EliseParts, but Camskill seem to be a bit cheaper.

Another vote for camskill

The 1144s are a huge improvement over the std pads

Yea I got my pads from Camskill and they arrived the next day.
It may also be worth checking your fluid as it is not that expensive to change. Mines cost about 20 quid.
