Green S1...middle of no where

Post by scottyf » Tue Nov 21, 2006 3:46 pm

All I have to say is im insanely jealous if you live up at Loch Lee where I saw the car parked in a drive. What a fantastic drive home that must be.

Went out for a wee blast up Glen Esk today as the electricity has been off while they do work to our local substation. Havent driven the Esk road in years and had forgotten what a corking piece of tarmac it is. :thumbsup

I agree. :D
Often missed as it's a 'road to nowhere' but well worth the effort.
All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

That isn't the road that takes you from Edzell to Tarfside is it Scott?
If it is, my dad told me a while back that he has seen an S1 in a driveway up that road but it's usually up on ramps :(

Yep, keep going past Tarfside until youre right at the end, where the road turns into a track which takes you up to Loch Lee.
