Black S2 Type 72 (JPS) - that was me. Aberdeen - Braemar - Kirriemuir run.

I had to stop in Braemar and put the roof on though becuase it was getting a but chilly. It's a real shame because I love driving through the hills with the roof off.

Also passed a red S2 at the Spital of Glenshee.

Your car was sounding good!

It was getting a wee bit chilly. I wish I had put on my heated jacket.

Hi Gareth. We haven't met but I know that you've given Boyner a run in your car.

I never really get much of a chance to plan anything - usually spur of the moment. So sorry for the lack of invite

I usually keep an eye on the forum, but I've never really had much chance to meet any of the Aberdeen crowd. I'll have to make a bit of an effort.

the Blue S2 Exige was me coming home from a weekend in Edinburgh.

Somebody flashed me in a yellow S2 elise, not sure who it was but waved back. :D

You need to invest in a quality hat. I bought one of these of eBay for about £12. Warm as a toastie thing and gets nearly as many looks as the car :)

Now that's a quality piece of headgear.

It was my hands that were getting cold though. I'll need to get a pair of gloves. I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions?

Cheers,
Gary.

Scotty, you were gone when I eventually got back to the car about 4ish. I took the South Deeside on the way home, a bit later than planned, hence I was driving when Gareth phoned.

Top day and top 2Bular !!! NOISSEEEY

I have a pair of these that I use.

They are not driving gloves, but are windproof and warm and have a grippy palm.

I've got a pair of Extremities Stickies like these http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/Cat/108610?Ref=114635 but I think that they would possibly be too sticky. I haven't tried them but I'll see how I get on. If not, the cart gloves look like they're made for the job.

Thanks,
Gary.
