A club run without our knowledge?
Maybe it was some of our continental Loti driver friends?

Its the Yorkshire lot.
They'll be travelling from Inverness to Berwick today via Braemar and Edinburgh. Not sure of the exact route.

Yes, I did mention it to them but I couldn't show them the way and at the end of a long day I don't think any of them wanted to be responsible for navigating and getting lost
I was with them earlier in the day, Gairloch, Ullapool, Durness, JoG. Ended up in Dingwall.
The gear selector link broke on my car around about Ullapool leaving me with only 3rd and 4th so I came home via Altnaharra.
Next time someone comes up I'll get their OK to post it on here in case anyone is free to meet up for a section or two. NYLOC has got very careful with club organised runs in the last couple of years after legal advice seemed to indicate that club officials could be held responsible for any mishaps. All a bit unfortunate really, caused a very lively forum to be closed to non-paid up members but I can see where they were coming from.

You a lucky buggers to have those roads all the time: but we were lucky to get them in glorious weather for the time of year.

As an occasional reader I cba reading the whole site to see if the Mogster has already posted, or if you already know, but we’re coming back for a quick lap of Scotland at Easter. Only six cars this time – difficulty in finding free dates at the hotels made this Hobson’s choice.
Our itinerary:
Thur March 20 Erskine to Portree
Fri March 21 Portree to Dingwall (prob via Durness)
Sat March 22 Dingwall to Kelso
Sun March 23 Kelso to Yorkshire
Comments and abuse are welcome! I think the roads pick themselves but if you know of any hidden gems then please let me know… If anyone is interested in joining us for any/all of the drives…

Would love to join NYLOC, meet the 'local' crowd and get some runs in at weekends, but you can't join without going to a meeting. On a bloody weeknight. At 6:30pm.
Does nobody have a job?

I jump in

Would have loved to have joined in with you Paul for a couple of days, being retired I can usually manage any time.
