Orange 111R '07 plate, on Edinburgh bye-pass last night.

Was that an L plate in the back window?

Woohoo only had the car a week and been spotted :)

Thanks for the mention, not sure if you were the guy who I met close to the Straiton end of the bypass travelling west? If so we waved each other.

My car is a new 111r with Touring, Super Touring, and black wheels / diffuser. Got it from Murray Motors in Bankhead.

Had it 6 days exactly, and 1,000 miles done - first service tomorrow :)

Here's a link to a picture of her at Arthurs Seat (digital effects added, and this is with the Hard Top (Had softop on for a few days now).

If you ever fancy a wee drive on a Sunday afternoon, me and my girl normally head out to East Lothian.

Gary.

OH yeah, and still a learner :( Failed my test today (Very harsh in my opinion, 2 minors and what he claims was a serious - he reckons when I emerged from a junction, I was too close to the other side of the road, which caused a third party to slow down - fail).

Still, insured to drive as provisional, so still having fun :D

You are one lucky boy if you have 111r and still learning.

I have been saying for years that I would only learn if I could get a car that was fun to drive....

Mission accomplished...almost!!!

So close today, the guy who took me on the test was a complete w*nker.

I didn't think any insurance company would insure a provisional driver on an Elise (or any similar performance car)? :?

Very few do, I found maybe 5 or 6 companies, they all sting you big time.

Wicked, this is so surreal - anyway thanks for the wave! You saw the car when it had done maybe 300 miles max - still to scared to use it properly :)

Saw this car in MMC a few weeks back getting prepped.

Does it have an S&M style drink holder hanging from the dash?

Good luck learning to drive it - get yourself down to Walshy once you pass :D
