Och, as long as you're doing at least 60 it's as safe as anywhere... 
A guy I worked with was sitting at traffic lights on the main street a couple of years ago. Two weapons, cool as you like, climbed into the back of the car and said " take us to Port Glasgow". He said they looked out of their nuts, so, terrified, he did as they asked!
Good way to save on taxi fares I suppose
At least it couldn't happen in the elise...

Bertie I was engaged to a girl from Greenock for a few years so stopped many times actually

That's my sister!
Funnily enough there was a Jane McKechnie in my year at school. Know a couple of Loves around here too- not that common a name either. And I worked in Skelmorlie for a couple of years, but don't think I know her...so your safe there.

She would have been Jane Love at school & probably older than you I guess.
