Was me. I too was just heading back to Glasgow and had been in seeing the bird and touring the shops.
Was going to stop but I noticed your ladyfriend was with you - my girlfriend hates it when I stop random people to talk about cars so thought I`d save you the embarassment!

I've done that before
I saw a titanium S1 stopped near Arbroath in the summer so I did a u-turn and went back and spoke to the guy, no idea who he was and haven't seen him since. Think I scared him

If you`re out with a new lemon curd for a bit of Sunday lunch and some guy pulls up and shouts something about an "online lotus club" you`re going to look about as cool as a comic book collector.....

Good thinking, if it had been a new bird then that would definitley have led to some funny looks, however as it was the old one she's more than used to it!
As for the comic book collecting, you just don't know how close you are - ask Larry Marder...
