Elan (80's / 90's) North Deeside Road tonight

Saw a dark metallic blue Elan tonight on the Drumoak straight. Looked pristine.

In the early 90's, I intended to have one of those but it never happened ... and then I fell under the spell of Pug GTI's.

Anyone know anything about the car? I'd really like to meet the owner and have a nose round it (and possibly a quick spin).

I spotted this too yesterday, floating down Union St at lunchtime.

As you said Eric, it looked very tidy
