well all, we decided in the end....

to go for

an elise!!!!!!!!! woo hoo. 2 very happy new elise owners in Edinburgh.
a lovely new 111r from MMC. very excited about taking delivery and getting it out on the road!
we test drove an s and the r, and just loved the second cam extra speed and noise!

will be thinking about a sports exhaust at some point in the future too but not for a while...have to save up!!!

looking forward being part of the lotus world.
all the best, Fraser (and Ruth).

Is it the red one, with the sports pack? I very nearly bought that! I take it Graeme did you a good deal?!

For sports exhaust, you need to go 2bular: http://www.2bular.com/

Great choice of car! :thumbsup Get some pics up! 8)

Hi Dezzy,
No it wasn't the red one - we've ordered from the factory.
Magnetic Blue with black wheels...my better half wants to get stripes on it but I'm not convinced yet so we'll see...
Graeme was great and patient with us!
will get pics up once we collect it - can't wait!!!!

Very good choice of colour (both car and wheels!) 8)

That first 1000 miles of not being able to rev it fully is so difficult, but you should just do what I did and get it over with in under 2 weeks! :thumbsup You'll be like a kid on xmas even when you go to collect it! :D

aye well i reckon i can do 1000 in a week...commute to glasgow for 5 days = 500 and then a weekend outing when we get it should take us up to about 800 or so which ought to do it i think...
next thing is to sort insurance out...
