New Owner - Looking for advice?

Post by m.crawford » Mon Feb 11, 2008 6:55 pm

I have recently got a 5 year old (39000m) S2 Elise and all has been well...until now. I think that the plastic end cap on my radiator is leaking and guess I will need a new one. I was wondering if anyone knew how much this would be likely to cost and also if anyone could recommend any good garages to do the work around Edinburgh. I know there is Murray Motors but I just wondered if there might be some decent alternatives.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Martin

Thanks - having looked at the site I definitely will call him. Do you know whereabouts he is based?

....or do it yourself?

It's actually pretty straightforward, and rather satisfying- with the front clam off it looks like major surgery (impresses the neighbours/ better half no end :D ).

Btw, I'd go for one of the uprated all-aluminium jobs, as the tupperware originals are p*sh

Oh, and make sure it's not a hose leak first...
