You're not a single girl though....
Never until now have I thought of you as Mrs Mac...

Dave - my offer of a night out still stands for the 21st - can't promise a single female with an Elise but can promise a single girl who loves Elises

To be honest, Lee's was the only 135 I've seen for sale up here in a while - can't remember any 111s either... I think there's a good proportion trading in against the current Lotus finance deals, to avoid the hassle of selling.
Why lumping in VX with 135? - very different cars. If you're thinking VX, you should also give some S2's a gander. Figure out what it is you want the car for and then we can point you in the direction of what's best - an S1 135 and a VX220 are about the polar opposite of the Elise lineage... (that's not a dig at VX's BTW)
TBH, you're best bet will be trawling PH and the like and posting queries about the cars on here - we'll do what we can.

Not wishing to get a flaming, my preference would probably be for a VX (on my budget anyway), but gf is quite insistent on an elise, so the compromise is the S135 and 111s. Not actually been in a S135, but have been in a standard elise and a 111s and preferred the 111s out of the two. It is a weekend toy, so comfort is not overly important, just something i can enjoy hooning around the b roads in. And yes, i have been in a VX as well (both turbo and NA).Why lumping in VX with 135? - very different cars. If you're thinking VX, you should also give some S2's a gander. Yep, hourly trawls on pistonheads/autotrader/ebay etc etc do occur, and will be posting up anything i see for opinions...........
You won't get much of a flaming, just a bit of mild banter about the Griffin on the bonnet...
You'll still love it!
The only problem my g/f has with my Liz (Apart form the fact she likes it more than her MX-5 but won't admit it
) is she can't comfotably sit in the pax seat and reach the footrest if she has trainers on and she's not that short.
