for track use, you'll need to get the uprated rear toelink kit. Will probably want to change pads to pagids also, tyres to R888 or A048, and suspension to Nitrons.

Then you just need to decide on engine stuff.

Probably best to look for a S1 111s with the VVC as it has more poke.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

How come the uprated rear toelink kit Andy? :)

Mass, can't make that one, will only be doing the two dates mention in previous post this month - there's still spaces for 25th ;)

I am thinking of doing Croft on the 25th (a very rare full day open pit)

Std adjustable dampers on CS.

Are the std toe links prone to breaking/bending or flexing too much or something?

And croft sounds like it'd be cracking Mass 8)

The balljoint on the inboard toelink seizes and the threaded part of the rod then starts to flex. Thats my limited understanding anyway. My current car came with the upgraded kit, but I have had 4 other Lotus that have been tracked without the upgraded toelink kit and not had any problems, but I know it does happen.

This photo from the `ring made me  to the problem when it does happen though
