Suspension wise, consider the s2 Bilstien upgrade kit (as others have mensioned)

Give Bell & Colvill a call, they do the kit (4x bilstiens plus brackets to make 'em fit) for £450 (I think it's normally 600 quid). Transforms the car - it actually soaks up the bumps rather than bashing across them as mine did, yet is stiffer further in so less body roll.
