Happy New Year All!

Post by twink » Sun Jan 04, 2009 5:03 pm

Afternoon all - some here may recognise me from elsewhere (twink on SELOC or the Lotus 7 Club where I go by my real name, Nick Addison)

I thought I'd sign myself up here as I'm currently planning a "Great Drives - UK" DVD to follow on from the France one that I have just done, and could do with the advice and know-how of some locals in planning the Scotland section. I will start a separate thread including the map that I have drawn up from recommendations gleaned from various forums and mags....

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Speak to Campbell on here about routes mate - also known as Routemeister Ford ;) Also several members who specialise in route planning - good place to start a wee preliminary search is the meets forum and look for old runs. Question has been asked a few times, so there's already some info floating about :thumbsup

The M8 is a great road. Don't miss the M74 either...

... we'll, if we tell you all the really good roads, they will only get busy as a result of your DVD  .
