Hi Joerg

We have never met, but you obviously know a few of my friends on here. Probably a few of mine over there as well, Bob van M, Yvo, Peter(van Sten) etc. I have had a few enquiries on track days from Europeans about the availability of S1's over here as I believe you have a shortage over there and are prepared to convert them to LHD.

I actually have two S1's, Honda'd RHD and a S/C Honda'd LHD that was a Belgium car. I prefer now driving the LHD even in the UK, and of course it is an advantage when I cross the Channel.

Good to see Graeme's car going to an enthusiast. There is a post on LOT of another of our cars. Hans GP has bought Dave Logan's 340R, and Peter collected it from Aberdeen and drove it back.

Cheers

I think with the euro v £ rate there will be a lot of cars heading over the water.

Joerg,

The A68 is quite a good road once into England. Your satnav chose well! Another nice way to get out of Scotland is on the A701...save that one for another time.

Lisa was pleased to hear that you were in touch and still in Elises. We have friends in Switzerland (they live in Neuchatel and have a chalet in Wengen also) so we may be able to hook up with you sometime when we next visit them :-)

Welcome Joerg!!

Tut, Peter is coming over on Friday the 30th (for a beer or two) and then heading down to Newcastle on the Saturday 31st for the ferry.
I have been talking to Hans about trying to get him back over with the 340R for the Croft Knockhill LOT weekend.
Hope the weather is ok for him next weekend.

Shame to see all these cars going abroad, but hey ho.

Glad you got the Elise home safe Joerg.

Dave
