Hello for a bit south :-)

Post by Opentrack-Dave » Fri May 09, 2014 8:32 am

Morning I thought I would pop in and say "Hi" as John Stewart the Photographer mentioned a track day I am running at Knoclkhill on Monday May 26th Bank Holiday this month.
I run a track day company called Opentrack based out of a small village just outside Cambridge, i have been running events for 6 years and started to do them as i thought i could do a better job than some people already doing it .
So far so good :-)
Unfortunatly I don't own a Elise i am afraid i have a Tiger Avon, it's a Caterham type thing :-) not that much fun in the wet mind you, as it has no screen or heater
As for normal job, i work for a Big supermarket :-) that is always trying to "save you money every day" and you may see the Green lorry's doing a stunning 55mph on the motorway's.

Before i got into the track day lark i used to work for several car magazines fast car, max power, octaine, etc as a photographer and I used to make many happy trips to Crail and various other places for in the old days what we called "cruises" they seam to have died of these days ....... but that could just be me and middle age creeping up on me as well.
Have fun
Dave.
