Yeah, been looking at the yellow one but travelling all the way to London to find it isn't right puts me off...Only other black one I have seen is at Murray Lotus in Sighthill, it is on a 55 plate but with 06 spec upgrades, £27k tho!

Damn right . . . it is very 8) If I hadn't only had my Elise a few months, I'd seriously be interested. If I was buying an Exige, it would definitely be black! Gotta go for the batmobile look! 8)

I don't think that mileage is is too excessive. Yes, it's above average, but not too bad.

A passenger drive would be nice :!: This weekend is problematic but when the next Knockhill event happens let me know.

Gives me time to get used to one then

How much would you guys value a 2006 (facelift) on a 55 plate with 7k miles? It is Black one with touring, no exhaust/intake upgrades, has A/C too.

Yeah, about £26-27k probably.
What is it about the MY06 spec you really want?
Apart from the LED lights, there's nothing noticeable on the outside that looks any different. No idea what else there is but I wouldn't rule out older cars for the tiny differences. There's MY07 cars out already so it's not like it's the newest spec.

I am not too fussed about the 06 changes but it is the only other black one for sale and is priced 27995 at Murray Lotus. Upon walking in was offered a 1k discount but he wont go less than 27k. My budget really is around 25k, 26k at a push. It is black I prefer but there are hardly any for sale, only Eds one and this one!

If he really wants to sell it, he *will* go below 27. Sales are difficult at this time of year and if you just play it cool and make it clear you're not that bothered about it, he'll soon be offering more off it. Play it tough! Haggling is great fun!

I think you have answered your own question there.

Ed's is a great car. Often on this forum, newbies ask if anyone knows a particular car as they would like to know the history. I know that this is something important to me.
Any issues that Ed has had with his car (and I am not sure that there have been any) would be well documented on this forum and could be found with a simple search. How many other cars will you be able to do that with.
Ed's is seriously cheap for what it is and come the spring will no doubt look like a bargain at today's price. If it was sitting on the the forecort at MMC I am sure that it would be ticketed at more that the '05 with 7k on the clock.

That advert says it has aluminium stalks and a momo removable steering wheel, but they are not present in the interior picture.
