Might be a silly question but if an engine has had HGF does this increase/decrease the chances of it happening again? :?

don't think it matters BUT

if it's been done my a monkey then probably OR if it's had one of the uprated head gaskets fitted then it might lessen it.

As for HGF, my opinion is that it's overrated. Sure it's a pain when it happens but I've never heard of an elise that's damaged a head due to broken cambelts.

Alright, it's monday and late in the day, but can you explain this one? My poor wee head isn't getting the connection with HGF and belts.....

Or are you talking about it hydraulic-ing? Would have thought warping was more of a concern in the first instance?
