I come from Kilwinning, moved away to Uni in Aberdeen for 6 years and moved back again. Been back here since 2004, spend most of my time between Kilwinning and Ayr.jj wrote:Hello
where you from in N.Ayrshire? I grew up in Fairlie and Largs.
I know your neck of the woods pretty well, used to go over to millport for jaunts, biking and hillwalking on the fairlie moors and best of all icecream at Nardini's in Largs.

Ye i saw that thread and put a wee reply in. If you have your dates/times correct and the forum clock was at the right time then it must have been someone else. My car was in for a service in Stirling and didn't get it back to the following day.
Normally mates/family/bosses make a point of telling me when they have seen one in the area as they are fairly rare. Nobody in Kilwinning has told me of another blue yen aboot.
I'll look out for yours, quite distinctive with the black stripes
Cheers
