Picked the car up today and well chuffed with it, I've still not stopped grinning. Big thanks to Del for running it in for me so carefully over the last 16 thousand miles, and for taking good care of itngaff1 wrote:Ken, you've got me worried now.....please elaborate....do you mean general Granny stuff like slipping the clutch, bouncing off kerbs, driving up dual carriageways on the wrong side ?ExigeKen wrote:Neil - you need to give that car a good time Del drives like a Granny

Nice car, it's not even run in yet!
Never explored the rev limiter too much today but there's plenty of time for that later

I can confirm that throughout ownership, the red light had only ever appeared 3 times.
Once when MMC done it.
Twice when I done it... when I realised I wasn't driving fast enough and MMC had confirmed that the light was in fact, working.

The Red Light? I thought it meant "Change Gear in 1/2 a second"?delands wrote:I can confirm that throughout ownership, the red light had only ever appeared 3 times.

I must confess my Red Light has been on more than 3 times...every single time I take it out.
