Welcome along :welcome

Phil is my younger brother and so I have driven his car a number of times - we used to have a matching pair - but I sold my S1 Exige to another SE`er in the summer.

I drove Phils car at the weekend and its running very sweet indeed after all the work he has done to it :thumbsup

You're right, vx is a lotus 116
made in Ethel anyway.
The VX turbo is quite rare in France and had hard time to find one like i wanted.
During the last 2 years i gave it some changes to improve what can be:
Exhaust: milltech
Suspension: Olhins 2 ways
Brakes: tarox 6 calipers
SACH cluch
Lot off work on the engine: 280 HP /450 Nm
Team dynamics 1.2 + A048
Full geo
and few other things
The car is quite fast (1,57 at the BUGATTI) i hope it come from the driver as well
Would be nice to meet you guys on the Bugatti's track

Hi Chord

The roads around Le Mans must be quite busy with Lotus vehicles sourced from Scotland.

Say Hi to Emmanuel Beaufils of Le Mans Sports Cars who bought my silver S1 Exige.

I am trying to convince him that there may be an even more immaculate S1 Elise somewhere :thumbsup

I would like to thanks everybody fro the greeting :thumbsup
The Le Mans's road are not so busy with Scottish Lotus (but there is few ones).
Unfortunately, most off the cars bought does not stay around town, because Emmanuel (a friend off mine) buy lotus, and sell them, it's his job, most off the cars goes in another town .
My approach is totally different, i 'm looking to buy a car, rebuilt it completely if needed to make it like new but it is for my own pleasure

"Tut is English......"

Bit of a mongrel really, not sure what I am.

Mother and Father were both Scottish, three sisters also born in Scotland and still with accents, I was born in England when they moved South after the depression, spent 17 years abroad in the Forces and the last 30 years in Scotland. Eldest son born in Singapore, the other three in Aberdeenshire.

Answers on a postcard please......
