Car history wise Sanjoy was maybe getting a bit ahead of himself posting a pic of a race spec RS500 . I have had a stream of RS fords though, Mk2RS2000, RSTurbo etc, the last being an Sierra RS Cosworth which did have an RS500 inspired 400+ HP engine unfortunately spending most of the time in bits in the garage. It was a serious money pit though which was why it had to go.

anyways, good luck with your search for and elise! S1's and S2's have there pros and cons, i have an S2 and have loved every minute of it, i know of many S1 owners who will tell you the same of them, its all down to personal preference, no matter what you go for im sure it will be a great source of fun!!!
