It's amazing what you can get in a lotus.
In theory, if you take the roof off, you have an unlimited amount of space (I'm sure someone will correct me on this, quoting regs from th highway code).
We've had a couple of xmas trees in ours, also as 2 x 100l bags of compost, 20m of heavy duty pond liner (all with a passenger). Unfortunately no pics though.

Good to hear you're having fun :thumbsup

:welcome

I have done a full weekly TESCOs shopping for the family and got it home in the Elise. It filled the boot, and the passenger seat from shoulder level right down the footwell. Other than having to catch the odd item as it made a bid for freedom, it was ok. I got three rolls of roofing insulation in it recently too.

Theres a deceptive amount of space behind the seats but I'm not good at utilising it.

Was about to say this too. Had a lawnmower in both Elise and VX.

It is quite amazing what you can fit in them. We went camping with tent, 2 sleeping bags, an airbed, 2 camping seats, small stove, fairly big bag of clothes, 4 wellies and still managed to get the hood off and stored somewhere :)

I had a bath in the VX once too*

*ok, so I cut it into 4 pieces to get it in there ;)

Thanks for replies - look forward to getting the Christmas tree in the car, that'll needle a few I'm sure. With £20 off a £50 spend at Bookers it was interesting choosing wisely - dense expensive stuff, not paper roll and loo roll. At least the shopping doesn't make comments .......

Just back from a 24 hour sunny jaunt from mid-Argyll to Dumfries and Gallowa (Loch ken) , a few days of coincidences, I'll post shortly with pics I hope.
