As for the KTM - reason it looks nothing like the photo is due to its regular Sunday abuse.
Unreal what it's been through and always starts first kick.
The trials - that's was me. Used to be right into it but no longer I'm afraid. There's not enough Sundays in the week for me.
I'm always busy - work 6 days/week and out on the KTM most Sundays which helps get the week out the system!
Cheers for the lotus link - I'm off to a retirement doo at a distillary tonight so will catch up on the reading after work tomorrow!!!

Sorry Rob, thought it was a real mans Motocross bike, not a woofters trial bike.

The KTM is a road legal enduro bike - 250cc two stroke.
Folk have come from all over to ride out with us - strange thing being they only show once!!!
After that the excuses start.
I used to ride trials on a sherco 2.9 also but admit I prefer the KTM - theres no comparison.

8) So Rob who used to ride the 2010 2.9 , neeghbour of Jim Buchan :D It sounds like an Elise will be right up your street, have you considered an Exige? Not mine though :D Your welcome to take a look around my car ,same engine as the 111R with a few wee mods to make it sound better.
If you haven't guessed who I am yet these might help v

p.s Don't know if you've met Brian who goes to trials with me and also rides a 2.9, I helped him source an Exige in Chilli Red earlier this year but he hasn't got round to posting on here yet.

Thought it was you Lee but wasn't 100% sure.
I sold the sherco about 6 months back - due to lack of use.
Thats a sweet motor you have there.

Yeah I've owned quite a few Elises/Exiges over the years. This one is an old '04 but only covered 16k miles, 1 previous owner, fLsh, original paint, I really like it in the green which is very rare on an Exige but sometimes think I should have held out for a white one that I've always fancied. Will pm you some stuff to check out on cars you are looking at.

Green looks excellent on the Exige, IMHO, and the gold rims are icing on the cake. Timeless.

White is sooooooo Audi ;-)
