I know i have only potsed 3 posts but it would be good if i could meet up with someone who has a Exige 190 and get taken for a spin. I have only driven the S and want to know what the difference is like?!?!
Also, reading some of your sigs, it seems like the cars are prone to spending a lot of times back at MMC, is this usual?
Cheers
Boyner
PM me with your number and I'll take you for a spin.
These cars don't spend much time at MMC.
Very reliable.

Boyner,
Bear in mind the trip to Edinburgh for any work (and it's my experince it has to go there at least twice for each warranty fix). Nothing mechanically serious on mine but it's still done 3K miles back and forth to MMC! It will be going back there soon (when I can be ar$ed) for 2 weeks to fix the aircon. Bonded on sill panels have to be removed etc. may involve new sill and painting...
Likewise I'd be happy to give you a run.
Cheers,
Ali

Yeah good point... If it's a warranty job and there is something which means the car wont run, do they foot the bill for transporting the car down there and how do they fair wrt customer service?
So many questions!!!

On a new car you'll have Lotus Assistance (full AA cover) which would transport it down there should it not be safe/possible to drive. You would still have to get down there to drive it back!
Customer service has had a bad rep of late but I think (hope) it's getting better.

These Exige S2 are common as muck in ABZ. Not unless you go for a white one

Gareth,
Yeah, certainly has changed my mind between the 190 and the S, defo do not think the S is worth the extra money now IMHO!. Obviously it is a faster car but for what i would use it for i couldn't justify £40K price tag. Will save myself some money methinks and put the rest towards a good chiropractor (the M3 is a luxuary barge compared to the exige

)
Cheers
