...aaah, Lotus ownership - week 2 and I need to take it back to MMC for a new boot seal. Wet boot syndrome!

Was through at MMC on Saturday morning for the boot seal sort.

Boot was wet again this morning.... :(

Anyone had a leaky boot remedied at all?

Yes leaky boot seal and also major leaks through the four screws that hold the rear wing onto the car - water used to pour in :oops:

Once had a '2006 Lotus Europa - bit more power version' but it leaked real bad!
I'm the unluckiest guy in world when it comes to cars, the last 12months being proof of that!! Why couldn't I just love uncomplicated things instead........................?

Hi mate, how's it going? Boot seal appears to be working but we haven't had loads of rain yet so my fingers are still very much crossed.

Hi mate. Fingers crossed its worked this time then. We must be the only 2 Lotus owners in the world that are hoping for some rain! Like you, I'm waiting for a down pour to test it. At least I've got it back at the moment. Hopefully see you about soon.
