I'm gonna be really annoying and square here folks, but please remember AMP3 is a short TD and quite busy.

Last year there were 2 red flags in the space of 2 hours and if we get a repeat of that, then I don't think we'll want to run the day again - it's not worth the bad feeling when people have paid good money and get a seriously curtailed event. Think also of those paying big coin for supercar pax runs. Mass even went to the trouble of giving people a blat round the backroads when we ran out of tracktime thanks to the stoppages.

I know you're just having a bit of banter, but remember that the experience (and talent  ) levels on this day vary massively and there are an amount of new track drivers attending - it's not about racing and it's not about who's fastest - it's about learning the car and having fun without buggering up the day for yourself and others.

Sorry to sound like an old tw@t, but it needs said - the banter is great fun, but it's an open forum.

Right, I'll f*ck off again and leave you to it

They are 20 year old kids.

We sometimes forget what that is like.

I don't mind. I can take a wind up as well as give it out. Are you coming out to play on Saturday morning with 340R Colin and me? I will have my wee lassie in the car so will be taking it easy. You boy racers can do your thing and I'll play I spy with the kid. (Probably go something like: I spy with my little eye....a fanni boy in a silver s2 being pulled by the cops  )

Aye, will hopefully make it down as would be good to see a bit of track action and meet a few more faces from on here.

Clarky, that was crackin fun tonight, cheers for taking me a spin in your car. The car was lapping those roads up tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, and was good to meet TUT and see N1 and N3 in the flesh too.

cheers again! :thumbsup

Mike, thanks for taking me out a spin in both your cars. Wasn't expecting you to burst the S1 into life for a run, but glad you did!

Have to say I did fall in love with the Exige that night. After having driven a 111R I wasn't sure how different a N/A Exige could feel, but even from the passenger seat it felt a different beasty altogether. A very special car indeed.

I'm now decided that it'll be an S2 (sorry S1 purists, let the bashing comence......) and that I'm going to either go all in and get an Exige or learn my way round an early S2, tinker with it in time and not be afraid to drive it hard!

My head says early S2, my heart says EXIGE. I can now see why so many of you have said "whatever you get, you won't be dissapointed".

I'm just desperate to get something now.

Al.
