I'm truly gutted that I'm selling it but I've given up the road runs and it's impractical for the daily commute (especially in recent snow which severely greyed my hair  ). I'd rather it was being used than collecting dust in my garage.

Got stacks of offers from the continent but decided to sell it to an SE'er (just hope I don't see it too often) .

Will still hang around on here and still intend to make 050709 and other meets.

Replacing it with a Mini Cooper which is also BRG. (but don't hold that against me)

No-one gets blackballed from here just cos they sold (out) their Elise ;-)

In fact we hope to have a SEAT Leon Cupra FR oil burner chasing us down the road to Donnie this year...

It is a cracking little car, well looked after and serviced, and with the B&C conversion and hardtop, an excellent buy at that price.

Thanks, yes thats why i went for a cheaper early car, couldnt see the point in paying top dollar for a minter if i was going to track it, im going to get some tuition first though :thumbsup

Im still anal with cars though so i will probably be sad enough to get the front sprayed to take the chips away even though they will go back on

Can you guess ive no idea how to do the mutliple quotes

You got that right.

Why don't you come to one of TDs at Knockhill for some PAX laps before taking the car out onto the track?

See you soon

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Congratulations lass nice wee car too, :thumbsup
just watch out for all those cameras and scamra vans lurking around the corners ~hopefully the weather will keep them off the road

Take it easy, you don't have to drive fast to put a smile on your face in a Elise and enjoy the sceenery and a nice run home

For the multiple qoute thing I just quote and edit then copy and paste into the next reply not sure its thats the right way but it works for me
cheers Hamish

Seek out, amongst others, our very own Neil McKean, Robin, Paul Gibson and Fergus Duncan, all of whom have been of great help to me in one way or another. All very trustworthy behind the wheel (not to say others are not...I just don't have experience of them!). If you want to see how it can be done within a hairsbreadth of disaster, also get a ride with Tut ;-) He "drives by wire" I reckon and what he can do with his 200+ bhp is certainly something to behold

<bg>

PS - once upon a time young Lawrence Hoy would also have to be in that list but I'm sad to see he's no longer here to help. Not in body, right enough, but he's always in my shoulder in spirit :-)

Don't know mate - unlikely I would have thought, she's not due here until 11 ish and then I think she'll want to get back down the road with plenty of light left.

Good skills - if you do want it resprayed at the front I've a good contact, well through Ali at SLS. He did mine.

As for tracking it - liking that chat too - have a safe run down the road :thumbsup
