Hello All

Well I'm new here but not new to owning an elise. We used to own a Type 72 which to this day both my wife and i miss and so we are thinking of maybe buying another one sometime in the new year.

I/we are from Ellon and I grew up in a village a mile or so from Tut (I actually went to school in his house!). We had to sell the Type 72 due to the fact that while my wife was pregnant she couldnt get in and out of it very well so the tank that is our A4 diesel now sits on our drive. The 72 went to my best man LB who i see posts here every now and then.

Unsure what we shall get in the new year (after another youngster comes into the world) so we might go for a early S1 or an S2 ... bog standard or 111s ... no idea we will just see nearer the time.

P.S. nice friendly place you have here :)

Thanks for the welcome

All i remeber about the toilets is that they were freezing all year round !

My dad also went there but it was split into a lads half and a lassies half way back then.

I used to work with a guy from Memsie Matelotman but not seen him in a few years now.

Hi Davie

Welcome to the best car group in Scotland, not that I am biased of course.

Interesting to hear that you were in the house before we were, Schools out now, but pop over and say hello, a few Elise owners within a few miles of Old Deer, so a chance to get out in an Elise again if you have been away for a while. Home no is 01771 622971.

Cheers

Ps Matelotman(Chris) is as the name suggests, ex Royal Navy, but I believe that was because he could not get into the Royal Marines.......

The girls and boys toilets are now the Utility and my sons bedroom, but a lot warmer nowadays.
